A memorial service was held Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
a musical prelude began at 10:30
and a Buffet Luncheon Reception followed at

To celebrate Richard Raub’s memory a scholarship for OCC chorale students has been established.

OCC hosted a reception of cookies and coffee in the foyer outside the auditorium after the concert. It was chilly but fun.

- For the Memorial Service at Spurgeon United Methodist Church we performed Bach Cantata #4, Christ Lag In Todesbanden in German interspersed as part of the service.
- The service ended with the Lutkin "The Lord Bless You and Keep You". (Westminster Choir College, where Richard attended, traditionally ended each concert with this piece.) All members of the choir and congregation were invited to sing this piece)
- A catered lunch followed the service in the fellowship hall of the church and all were invited to share in food and fellowship.
